Wildfowling Permits

WILDFOWLING PERMITS

Machars Action administers the issue of Wildfowling Permits for Wigtown Bay Local Nature Reserve on behalf of the Dumfries & Galloway Ranger Service.

Dumfries & Galloway Council carried out a review of its spending and, as a result, it was decided that administration fees for permits to shoot on the LNR would be introduced from the 2015/16 season, based solely on the administration costs of the permit scheme to the Council.

The cost of a Weekly permit for 2016/17 will be £25 for one to four weeks shooting. You can download Wildfowling and Punt Gunning Applications for the 2016/17 shooting season from here.
