The Swallow Theatre
Earwig. The Swallow Theatre, Whithorn. Sunday 28th August 2022 at 7.30pm and Monday 29th August at 5pm.
Marigold’s research into beetles is unparalleled but as a deaf woman in 1927, her work is ignored. New writing combining the weird, wonderful world of entomology with Marigold’s fight to be heard amidst flappers, jazz, and an overbearing husband. Alongside traditional spoken word, the show incorporates illustrated projections and captioning (in the style of 1920s silent movies) along with plenty of art deco flair! Tickets £13.50.
