Whithorn & District Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. Saturday 4th June 2022. Bottom Park, Whithorn from 1pm.
All activities free. From 1pm – bring along a picnic. Soft drinks, crisps, sweet treat and ice-cream provided.
From 2pm. Listen to Creetown Silver Band. Face painting (1pm-4pm), Races for children, Giant Games, Fancy Dress for children, Best decorated hat or bonnet, organised sports on the MUGA, Children’s Jubilee themed crafts.
Judging of Best Decorated House and Best Decorated Window.
There will also be an exhibition at Whithorn Priory Church of Royal film and memorabilia and a Jubilee Service on Sunday 6th June. Children of Whithorn School will each be presented with a commemorative item to mark the Jubilee.
Transport can be provided if people have difficulty in getting there. Disabled parking will be provided close to the Park.
