Title of Post: Support Officer (Kirkcowan Community Development Trust)
Machars Action is seeking to appoint a Support Officer who will deal with the Administrative work of Kirkcowan Community Development Trust.
Duties will include:
Production of quarterly Trust Newsletters and other publications. Assist with Winter Fuel applications Assist with Trust Grant applications and applications for Educational grants.
Management of all social media posts ensuring that regular posts are published on the Trust website and Facebook page, to keep the local community up to date with what the Trust is doing. Prepare any Press Releases in relation to the Community Action Plan Liaise with Project Manager regarding progress of all Kirkcowan projects within the Community Action Plan Communicate with local community regarding any queries and concerns.
Conditions of work:
The post will be based in Machars Action office in Wigtown
The post is initially 24 months which will be extended subject to funding. Hours will be 8 hours per week on an agreed day. The postholder will report to the Office Manager, Machars Action The salary will be based on £10 per hour for 8 hours per week plus 24 annual leave days and Public Holidays
